Galvanized is a Professor of Social Work and currently teaches full-time at a community college. She is a Certified Hypnotherapist who specializes in helping adults to push past self-defeat so they can realize their potential. Sheri is the author of From Sabotage to Success, (New Harbinger, 2000). She has worked with people in a variety of settings, from an after-school program for at-risk youth to a hypnosis clinic in Orange County. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and a Master’s degree in Counseling from California State University, Long Beach and has studied Motivational Interviewing at an advanced level since 2016.

Sheri’s specialties include:  Hypnosis for anxieties and fears, hypnosis and coaching for overcoming self-defeating behaviors or self-sabotage and help with breaking habits and compulsions. Galvanized can also help with overcoming limiting beliefs and achieving desired goals and outcomes.
